Greed, Sex, Power and the Truth

Thu Dec 29, 2005, 7:04 PM
Les Liaison Dangeruses

Mood: Apathetic Apathetic
Listening to: Here Come The Warm Jets

Watching Dangerous Liaisons again last night for the billionth time actually made me think about something. This movie is so true! I have to say the first time I watched this movie I was probably about twelve and had no idea what the hell was going on, but I didn't nod to the fact that this movie was dirty. I kept watching it over the years and I admired the beuty of the movie but it wasn't until half way throught the movie at one thirty a.m. sitting along side Nick and Monty that I realized that Dangerous Liaisons is for real. We go about wanting wanting and not giving. We only ejoy :the hapiness we recieve." We can never actually be made happy by love because its a myth. I know some people might disagree with me, but seriously when is the last time you could say you were in love, and it ended badly because that sad bastard broke you heart and you just "wanted to die!" So you ended in the Michelle Pfeiffer role, crying your eyes out and dying literally of a broken heart. Instead you just want to mess around with people emotions accidentatly fall in love break it off because you want something better try to convince yourself its love when all you want is a long good hard screw. So give it up and tell the truth, what we want is sex and power. Don't we?
